With a rich background in education and a passion for helping families navigate the complexities of finding the right school, Annie Reece has been a guiding force in educational consulting since 2013. She is a Professional Member of the Independent Educational Consultants Association (IECA) and an attendee of various educational conferences. Besides conferences, Annie travels to boarding schools to tour, learn, and connect with admissions teams. She brings a wealth of knowledge and insights into boarding and independent day schools across the country.

Before stepping into the world of independent educational consulting, Annie shaped her expertise as the Assistant Director of Admissions at The Urban School of San Francisco and as a teacher at Town School for Boys, an Independent K-8 school in San Francisco. Her hands-on experience in both teaching and admissions provides her with an ability to connect with kids and families, and offers a unique perspective that benefits every family she works with.

An east coast native, Annie is a graduate of the Taft School, a boarding school in Watertown, CT, and Colgate University, where she captained the Women’s Ice Hockey team.  After nearly 20 years in the Bay Area, Annie  resides in Massachusetts with her husband, 3 children, chickens, and beloved Entlebucher Mountain Dog,  After a 20 year hiatus, she has reconnected  with her love of hockey and is back to playing and coaches her kids.
